Tiny Dancers

I have a lovely art show on Saturday in the park in Canton, NY.  I do this show every year.  It is a small, artsy show/sale and held on Parent's Weekend for St. Lawrence University (which helps for sales!).  I have been a slug all summer with weaving, I admit.  And Noah helped me with photographing some of my stuff but off came the tags and I also redesigned my business card (also with Noah's help)...sooooo retagging every single piece is quite possibly the most boring job ever...sooooo instead I have been playing with poppy seed head dolls.  I think they are adorable and fun.  They can be used as puppets though they are a little fragile.  I wrapped the stems with wire and covered them with florist tape.  Tied on some string for hands and cut shapes for clothes!

The good news is that I like them and they are fun...the bad news is that I still have to tag all my other items...sigh.

"Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand
And now she's in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand"

OK I'm off to do some "real" work now...
